This beauty from Butterick shows as it appeared in The Butterick Quarterly, Winter Edition 1923.
This dress features slip-over styling with a one piece draped skirt that sits at low waistline. Three sleeve versions include sleeveless, short, or longer bell-sleeve with split cuff detail. The transfer design used for the ornament at front/belt is NOT available as it was separate purchase in 1923 - it would have been a major coup to find it. The oval pattern piece is included so you can adapt your own design, or use a decorative over-sized pin to secure the belt.
I would recommend this for a more experienced sewist, but the pattern is positively lovely.
Below is a copy of the original pattern envelope - the reproduction sewing pattern is available for purchase here.
